Ms.Prakairatna Thontiravong , President of the Institute for Education and Development of Conflict Management by Peaceful Means Foundation and Chair Advisor of TMC Company; Mr. Paisarn Khongphasarnkaln, Advisor to the Foundation and Vice Chairman of the Board of TMC and Dr.-Ing. Thanak Utakapan, Director of the Foundation and Academic Advisor to TMC , were invited, as members of the research team, to participate in a study visit on the administration and management of the mediation process in the Republic of Singapore.
The delegation conducted the study visit from 15–17 March 2026. This study visit was organized by the Rights and Liberties Protection Department , Ministry of Justice, in collaboration with the Thammasat University Research and Consultancy Institute, under the project to enhance the systems, standards, and laws related to dispute mediation.
The purpose of the visit was to exchange knowledge and apply best practices to the development of Thailand’s mediation system, as well as to learn about Singapore’s administrative processes, operational procedures, and mediation standards. Singapore is internationally recognized for its peaceful dispute resolution system. The information and experience gained from this visit will be analyzed and used to support the further development of the country’s mediation policies and system, with a view to improving efficiency and aligning them with international standards.
